Next Match-.........FA CUP SPECIAL- Home to Scumdon Clowns-Sunday 8th December 2002 kick off 1pm and Live on BBC1 at the Kassam Stadium and not the C*UNTY Ground............................
                                                 Sunday 1st December 2002
Barry Davies was at the Kassam Stadium yesterday to get used to the ground and the players, ready for him to do the commentary for the BBC of our cup game with the Scum on Sunday, He will be taking in the C*unty Ground on Wednesday to see them, but I think he enjoyed his day at the Kastad, Chris interviewed him right next to me in the press box,
So a great opportunity for this picture and the one of my view of the Oxford Mail stand from my seat in the box.

                                                 Saturday 30th November 2002
Well, I did apologise in advance for the cock ups on the scoreboard, It was my first day running it and I only made two huge mistakes, I know Viveash has gone and who the hell Damian was is still a complete mystery to me, so roll on Sw****n next Sunday, I will be ready for that one and no mistakes on the scoreboard, At least I got to put a 1 after Oxford on the board, thought I was going to have to wait until the Scum game to do it, But the referee came to the rescue, giving the U's a penalty with
about 90 seconds to go, which Andy Crosby slotted home to bring us the 3 points, GOAL GOAL GOAL came over the board, But Daniel had forgotten to take off sentence that was on the board after that, So Damian got another Happy Birthday wish,
God knows when it was, but if Damian would like to come forward, He would satisfy everyone's curiosity.

Shame that the Lincoln City fans had to spoil the day by running on the Football field at half time and full time,
They were Lincoln fans and not Sw****n fans as first thought, We spoke to one of the Lincolnshire constabulary after the game and He knew all of the fans that ran on the field, they are all known to Lincoln police and will be dealt with, There may have been the
odd Scum fan in the ground for the game though, reports were that there was a bit of trouble in the North stand at Halftime in the
concourse, where there was a confrontation between fans, something that will be dealt with heavily at the game next week,
If it is to occur.
The Attendance yesterday was 4,923, but there was no way 365 Lincoln fans there, more like 180.

                                                 Friday 29th November 2002
Oxford have signed Kidderminster's Senegal defender Abdou Sall on a months loan, He will go straight into the team to play
Lincoln City tomorrow and will also feature against Swindon Town in the FA Cup next weekend, Sall has played against
our arch rivals once before this season and scored the winning goal against them in the LDV Vans trophy,
So a repeat next Sunday would be nice, Sall has fallen out with the management at Kidderminster and wants out, He is hoping that his month at Oxford will get him a permanent deal at the Kassam Stadium.
More news later.

                                                 Thursday 28th November 2002
Oxford will have a new signing playing for them on Saturday, Infact it will be Lee Steele making his first appearance for the
club after having a nightmare time with injuries since arriving at the club in the summer.

                                                Wednesday 27th November 2002
Oxford reserves lost this afternoon against Leyton orient Res 2-1, Bobby Ford got the U's goal on his return match after a long lay off injured, Lee Steele also played in the match and is reported to have come through ok....

                                                Tuesday 26th November 2002
So the Joey Beauchamp saga is over and with a happy ending for all parties, Joey has received a pay off from Oxford
and will get his testimonial at the Kassam Stadium after all, It is no more than he deserves for his services at Oxford
for over a decade, as a young lad, all he wanted to do was play for Oxford, his home town club, from Being a ball boy at Wembley for the Milk Cup Final in 1986 until the last time he kicked a ball for Oxford, he loved the club, the fans loved him,
He is an example to the youngsters of Oxford, that if they knuckle down and work hard, that they can achieve their dream
to become a professional footballer, I would like to wish Joey all the best for the future, no matter what he does,
whether it is in Football or any other future ventures, Good luck from United We Stand.

I would like to apologise in advance if there is any mistakes on the Club's electronic scoreboard for the next few weeks,
That is all I am at liberty to say, Thank you.....:-)
