This page is to inform you of how to vote and why the award is being Sponsored independent of the club from now on.



This Trophy is called"The Andrew Knapton Memorial Supporters Player of the Season Award.
This award is dedicated to the Memory of Nappy, Andrew Knapton who was loved by all that stood in the London Road stand at the Manor ground with him.
We started a fund to make a memorial to him on the day of the Milk Cup re-union match at the Manor, on that fine day we Raised £913.58p, yes that huge amount in just 4 hours, A huge thank you from all of us at the Memorial fund for your kind donations, Andrew's family were bewildered by the generosity of all the fans that went to that game and by the amount that went to Nappy's funeral, Andrew's Father and Sister Gill will be at the York City  Match on May 3rd to present the Trophy, Ironic that this trophy should be handed over on the 2nd Anniversary of the big guys death, so it will be a very emotional day for us all..
Please make them feel welcome when they walk out onto the pitch, it is going to be a very hard day for them,
Try and make it a bit easier for them, they are lovely people.

Voting will be done via the Club's Official Website and Matchday Programme, watch out for the Forms in the Programmes at the next two home games.
This site will keep you up to date with the proceedings.
