Oxford stay top of the league after Doncaster failed to win yesterday, ironically it was Huddersfield who have cheated us out of Julian Alsop for a month that beat them 3-1 to keep us firmly on course at the top, Hull won 2-0 at home to Cambridge and are only 1 point away though, Darlington look even more likely of having the best ground in the Conference after losing to Leyton Orient 1-0.

Yesterday's match at Watford must have brought back memories for all Oxford fans, what sweet justice it was for the Chelsea scum to draw to a goal that should never have been allowed, had that been ruled out then Chelski would have surely won the game, U's fans will remember how they were cheated out of the next round of the cup when Chelski won a penalty after Vialli dived over Super Kev Francis to fool Mike "Chelsea fan" Reed and win the blues a lifeline, back at Stamford Bridge we took an early lead but then were stuffed, Lets hope that Watford do better at the Bridge and have luck like yesterday again, hey Rosie..:-)

Julian Alsop has been unlucky in his fight to get his 5 game ban overturned, the original panel reviewed the evidence again that the club had sent them and they still say that big jules is guilty of the offences, whatever he did, there is no justice in this world, the FA are determined to punish Oxford for doing well, well it seems that way anyway, that game at Huddersfield was a game full of comical refereeing, Steve Basham should have got a penalty in the first half after getting an elbow in the face waiting for a corner, Efe Sodyou was offside for the Terriers goal and if anything shouldn't have been on the field when the so called offence with Jules took place, Sodyou made more fouls in that game and used his elbow more times than a world champion arm wrestler.
Still Oxford get punished............this will go on for a long time.

Oxford manager Ian Atkins has been voted the 3rd Division manager of the month for December 2003, he said that the players deserve the award more for their consistency, it is Atkins 2nd award, which is also a credit to all the backroom staff that work around him, so everyone at the club deserve a bit of credit.

Julian Alsop's suspension is to be reviewed again after it was revealed that not all the evidence supplied by the club was used in his appeal, that means that a new panel will review Oxford's claim that he was dismissed unfairly as no contact with the player was made, I still think Sod(je)you should be the one being suspended for unsportsmanlike conduct, trying to get a fellow pro sent off on purpose, he is an international and should know better.
Good luck Jules, we are all right behind your case.

Oxford have broken a 20 year record after gaining 51 points from the first 24 games, the previous record was from 25 games as the U's went on to win promotion.

So big Julian Alsop has had his request for his sending off at Huddersfield to be quashed turned down, how stupid is that, we can all see from the video evidence that he never touched the Sod(je), this situation is Efeing unbelievable, The FA are already having major trouble, but to punish Jules and the club in this way is just unacceptable, All the club can do is keep the pressure on them and hope that they see the light and stop using the lower leagues as a scapegoat for the premiershit.
